Carpe Diem

While I have chosen "Option Y" for my blog, where I am required to explicate on a movement in a work of Drama, my blog is going to be more solely dedicated to the work The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. As of late, I have concerned myself with enjoying life and all it has to offer, and I would like to carry that into my blog by taking Wilde's hand and joining him in the exploitation of the shallow, stiff, and suffocating nature of the Victorian Era. Rather than focusing on how a movement is represented in a work of drama, I have decided to show how well The Importance of Being Earnest lead the Aesthetic Movement on its path to out the Victorian Era on its superficial representation of sincerity and the purpose of life. Carpe Diem, I say.
